*cough* Hello! Is this thing on?

…so, it’s been a minute! Sorry about that, I’d best catch you up!

2025 has been a blur - it’s taken me a bit just to collect my thoughts and as I sit here listing to one of my favourite DJ collectives (Book Club Radio - look them up on YouTube), I find myself going “oh wow, that happened!”.

Games and Sunshine on the Banjo Pier

A brief overview would be, I shot double the weddings, more events and corporate jobs. My camera took over 81,500 photos, I travelled to Santorini, helped launch and then run a wildly successful new bar in town, planned shots and secured contracts for 2026 and beyond - oh and occasionally napped.

A little more zoomed in detail, I met some amazing couples and clients, got to work alongside some excellent videographers (see we can get along!), shot weddings in gorgeous fishing village chapels, on boiling hot beaches, and in wilderness covered houses.

Got to watch people dance in the rain, twirl in LED lights, or embrace loved ones - it’s been pretty magical.

LED cape for a hot summers night, why not!

I’ve shot local festive celebrations, captured amazing dancers performing on stage and C-suite events, headshots and roundtables. This job certainly brings some diversity.

Personally, I’ve had chance to capture local landscapes, wildlife and beautiful Santorini, an island who’s people, food and landscape will live in my memory forever.

Absolutely iconic!

It’s been a wonderful - but I did rather neglect this blog, and for that matter a few other ideas.

I’ve learnt a few things from this year, from workflow, time management and scheduling, to advancing my photography skills and editing techniques. Which should hopefully see me having more bandwidth and time to dedicate to this blog, and in doing so, get round to discussing some things I’ve been wanting to for a while now.

I’ve invested in gear that will make capturing events and weddings easier, from filters, to strobes and even audio equipment for BTS stuff.

2026 is looking busy, and 2027 is looking very promising, I’m excited, I’m curious and I can’t wait.

So thank you for checking in on my blog, I’ll be back.
